JAMB RESIT: Candidates can’t use previous scores, says UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has decided to take down the effectiveness of the old results uploaded on the portal, to the new one. Mr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser publicly stated that the initial results have been voided, and only the resit scores will be effective. On this note, everyone is advised to re-check their scores again on the Jamb portal.

Mr Benjamin stated
“You can’t have two results. One must be withdrawn – that means the old result has been withdrawn,”
It was noted that JAMB released the new UTME Results on Sunday, and has since then received widespread outcry nationwide. The notion for a retake of the examination has also been on the rise, as over 379,000 candidates were affected. This covers Lagos and other Southeast states
