As he sent the team out for the second half, Arteta made some significant adjustments that let Bukayo Saka join in on the action. The Englishman was in a good mood as he burst past a Leverkusen defender and sent a dangerous ball into the middle of the box, seeing it bounce off of Aleix Garcia and fall perfectly for Havertz to get the goal he deserved against his former team.

Leverkusen was able to score a goal later on thanks to Arsenal’s numerous substitutions in the second half, but the damage had already been done, and Arteta will feel that there were far more advantages than disadvantages.
