This list consist of the top sound engineers who had an amazing year in the music industry. In the year 2023, loads of good music was released in the Nigerian music industry, it will be only right if we recognize the names behind the engineering of this songs. Nigerian sound or music engineers are doing a great job, as they make sure every song out there meets the industry standard. On this note, we have taken our time to shortlist our own top ten, with some other notable mentions as well.

Kehinde Alabi who is popularly and professionally known as Louddaaa is becoming a name to reckon with in the entertainment industry. It will interest you to know that he took Ayra Starr’s first recording at the Mavin Records. He is a very versatile music producer, sound and mixing engineer. Louddaaa has worked with the likes of Simi, Chike, Ladipoe, Don Jazzy. He currently bagged his first Grammy Nomination for mixing Ayra starr’s single.

His full names are Ajebiyi Adesanya who also doubles as a singer and songwriter. He has mixed a lot if hit songs under his imprint name “Ajeondmix”. Swaps has no doubt had an amazing year in 2023, he is those top tier sound engineers who worked on amazing records .

When ever you hear Timi JAY on the track, just know the jam is a banger. Mna has arguably mixed some or most of the biggest songs of 2023, with artistes such as; Wizkid, Zlatan, Khaid, Kizz Daniel, Badboy Timz, Joeboy and Mohbad. He is how ever the sound engineer with the most hits in Nigeria in the year 2023.
