Legendary Singer Onyeka Onwenu Dies at 72

According to reports reaching us at KACHI TV. The legendary and amazing singer died while performing at a birthday party on the 30th of July 2024. It was noted that she slumped and fell, which lead to her demise.

Onyeka Onwenu was known for her classics like , Ekwe, Wait for me ft King Sunny Ade, and one love. She will be highly remembered for her contribution to Nigeria’s Music Industry.

She was reportedly performing at the birthday ceremony of Stella Okoli, owner of Emzor Pharmaceuticals. The birthday party took place at Banana Island, on a Tuesday night. The Legendary singer Onyeka Onwenu was later rushed to a hospital in Victoria Island, where she was pronounced dead. Official statement from her family regarding her demise is yet to be seen.
