Seyi Makinde Commissions new road

The Governor in his remark said it is our collective responsibility to making Nigeria great. It is no doubt that he has been a man of the people in Oyo state. News men were gathered today the 16th of February, 2024 as the opening ceremony for the road commissioning was done by His Excellency Dr Peter Ndubisi at the 12.5 km Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata Road in Ibadan. This newly commissioned road has been renamed as the Theophilus Akinyele Way.

Makinde also stated that this newly commissioned road will bring in more development to the people of Ibadan and Nigeria. He stated that this will reduce the traffic hours spent by motorist on the road also.

Governor Seyi Makinde used the event to announce an extension of the wage award payment to all civil servants in the state by another six months, which he said, would allow government and workers the time to sort out what the minimum wage should be.
